Working on a complete Minecraft reskin!

I'm making a complete Minecraft reskin based off of textures from Knytt Stories! It's nowhere near finished yet, but you can check out more pictures here!

Oh, if you want to try it out, don't download the Terrain.png in that album. This one is slightly updated (but gold, diamond, iron and bedrock need work, and a few things such as doors and furnaces are Painterly pack textures because I haven't replaced them yet).

Keep in mind that it's a work in progress! I just started this last night!

"Draw some important scenes from The Book Thief. Stick figures are okay; I know you aren't all artists. Due Monday." -english teacher

My hand hurts.

I started this a couple weeks before school ended. I found it again yesterday when I was rummaging through my binder, looking for a gluestick so I could make Odelay, so I finished it!

Start at the filled-in triangle, and finish at the crosshatched triangle on the back.

You can go through the doors and come out the other door of the same number on the other side of the paper:

The paths that lead to the doors are shaded in. You can't just enter from any path that bumps up against the side of the door!

Those light blue circles are where the binder-ring hole thingies are.

If you can complete this, you deserve a cookie.

Art Classes

I've been taking art classes twice a week for the last month. Results:

Gourd never finished the shadow under the leaves

Nutty feat. good luck piggy bank and ugly stick

I Hate Drawing with Pastels this was my first time using them and I did not enjoy it

Hockney-esque Thing a bit of the left side of this photo was cut off, oh well

Odelay made this at home using my superior new skills. Everything but Wood Shavings Guy is from this cover; he was on the back

Evolution of an Atmosphir Level

It starts with a tiny in-class doodle off in the corner of an old school assignment.

Then a not-so-tiny doodle on a full page during Study Hall.

Open up design mode and start building. It turns into a shell of a dilapidated fortress.

Keep building. Add courtyards, hallways, towers, a healthy amount of spike traps.

Add windows, torches, more towers.

And after a month, upload. Voila - it's done.

Play it here (if you're part of the private beta, that is)!

In-class doodles, riddled with inside jokes

So I thought I'd share some of my doodles with you. I made these at school during my free time, so that's why they're on crappy lined paper (a couple of them are on the backs of old essays and such, hence the writing bleeding through from the other side). Also, they're full of inside jokes, so you probably won't find them amusing in the slightest unless you're one of the five or so people who WILL find them amusing in the slightest, in which case you will find them amusing in the slightest.

That's Big Hair Guy, as stated by the giant letters floating above his head. He has big hair; that's about all I have to say on the subject.

That's JPL Guy. We went on a field trip to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory a couple weeks ago, and the tour guide was... creepy. Yes. Moving right along-

WASC, some big important organization that rates schools and such and whose initials probably don't even stand for anything but just sound official and imposing, came and rated our school the other day. To the delight of about six hundred children, they picked the worst possible day to come and eat the school's already notoriously disgusting hot lunches: Chicken Nuggets Day (just barely worse than Mad-Cow-Disease-Ridden-Rubbery-"Hamburgers"-Day). These things are frigging disgusting. Your typical [munchy's school] chicken nugget is pretty much a white sponge full of slimy liquid encased in a soggy layer of cold, damp dough. When you squeeze them, juice and white foam squirt out. I wasn't there when they were eating, but this is sort of how I imagine it went. Maybe my dad will read this and stop signing me up for hot lunch on Mondays... Yeah, right.

Reference to Metal Gear Awesome at the end. Rest of story too long; not explaining. Kbai and thanks for readin'
